Queensland is the only Australian state where gel blasters are legal for adults 18 and over without a licence, and the field network reflects that. Nowhere else in the country has anything close to this many places to play.
This is every field we know to be operating, grouped by where you actually live. Fields marked Trusted Partner are venues RedSpear works with directly. Everything else is listed because it exists and players use it — no ranking, no favouritism.

The densest concentration in the state. If you're in Brisbane, you have three fields within about 40 minutes of the CBD.

No field in your town? Here's the honest answer
Some of Queensland's biggest regional cities have no dedicated gel blaster field at all. If you're searching from one of these, this is what you're actually looking at:
Rockhampton — no field. Nearest is Gladstone Gel Ball Club, roughly 1h40m south.
Mackay — no field. You're between Gladstone and Kennedy, both a long drive.
Townsville — no field in the city. Gel Blaster Arena at Kennedy is the closest organised option.
Cairns — no field. Kennedy is the nearest and it's a serious trip.
Gold Coast proper — no field in the city itself. Danger Close at Kooralbyn is the closest.
This is worth saying plainly because search results won't. In these regions the scene runs through private property games and Facebook groups, not commercial venues — which is exactly why Google shows you nothing. If you're in one of these cities, the Queensland gel blaster community page is a better starting point than any map.

Before You Turn Up: Booking, Age and Gear
Almost nothing in Queensland is walk-up. Most fields run scheduled game days rather than open hours, and several are community groups that post sessions to Facebook a week or two ahead. Turning up unannounced usually means an empty paddock.
You must be 18+ to own a gel blaster in Queensland, but many fields run supervised under-18 sessions where the blaster stays field-owned. Ask before you bring a teenager.
Most fields hire gear, so you don't need to own anything to try it. If you're going more than a couple of times, buying used works out cheaper than hire almost immediately.
Check the field's FPS limit before you upgrade anything. Limits vary between venues and an upgraded blaster that chronos over will be benched. See QLD gel blaster FPS limits.

Fifteen that we can verify as operating in July 2026. Nine are in South East Queensland, with the remaining six spread across the Darling Downs, Wide Bay, Fraser Coast, Central Queensland and the north.
Where is the closest gel blaster field to Brisbane?
Gel City at Sunnybank Hills, roughly 20 minutes south of the CBD. Blacksite at Hillcrest is the nearest indoor CQB option, and NukeTown at Beenleigh covers the southern corridor.
Is there a gel blaster field in Rockhampton, Mackay or Cairns?

Do I need my own gel blaster to play?
