Something's Not Working

Find the group that matches what's happening, then pick your symptom.

💡 Check this first — it's the answer most of the time

The large majority of feeding and accuracy faults are not the blaster. They're gel size. A gel that's grown a fraction too big for your barrel will jam, fly wide and burst, and no amount of new parts will fix it. Measure your barrel's inner diameter with a caliper and check your gels against it before you replace anything.

It won't shoot properly — nothing coming out, or it stops mid-game

It shoots, but badly — weak, wild or inconsistent

Frequently Asked Questions

Where should I start if I've never played?

Read the beginner's guide, then find your nearest field on the Queensland fields page. Most fields hire gear, so you can try it before buying anything.

Which gel balls should I buy?

It depends on your barrel's inner diameter and your spring or FPS, not the brand on the packet. Measure the barrel first. Full detail in the gel ball and ammo guide.

Are gel blasters legal in Queensland?

Yes, for adults aged 18 and over, with no licence or permit required. Queensland is the only Australian state where that's true. See Queensland gel blaster laws.

Where can I play in Queensland?

There are 14 operating fields, from Brisbane and the Gold Coast up through the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay into North Queensland. All of them are on the fields page with addresses and contacts.

Why won't my gel blaster feed?

Usually the gels are oversized for the barrel, or the magazine is at fault. Work through the feeding diagnostic before replacing anything.

Where can I buy or sell a used gel blaster?

On the RedSpear marketplace. Every seller is Queensland-verified, every listing is reviewed, and payment is held until delivery is confirmed. Selling costs nothing to list.
