About the platform
What is RedSpear Armory?
RedSpear Armory is a platform for listing and messaging about second-hand gel blasters and related gear in Queensland. We are not a party to the sale contract between buyer and seller.
Who can use RedSpear?
Adults only (18+). By using the site you confirm you are 18+ and legally able to participate.
Is RedSpear Queensland-only?
Yes. Listings and shipping/pickup arranged through RedSpear must be Queensland-only.
Payments and transactions
Do you process payments for marketplace items?
No. Payments for marketplace items are arranged directly between buyer and seller. RedSpear does not process item payments, hold funds, provide escrow, or handle item refunds.
Do you sell anything directly?
We sellListing Credits (a publishing fee for approved listings). Listing Credit purchases are processed through Shopify checkout/payment providers.
Listing credits
What are Listing Credits?
Listing Credits are required to publish an approved listing. A credit is deducted when a listing is approved and published.
When is a credit deducted?
Only when a listing is approved and published. If a listing is rejected, no credit is deducted.
Do Listing Credits expire?
Listing credits will never expire.
Are Listing Credits refundable?
Unused credits may be refundable at our discretion where required under Australian Consumer Law. Credits used to publish an approved listing are not refundable.
Listings and content rules
What can you do with listings?
We may approve, reject, edit (for clarity/format), pause, hide, or remove listings at our discretion to enforce rules, prevent scams, or maintain quality and safety.
What gets rejected or removed?
Listings may be rejected/removed if they are misleading, illegal, unsafe, prohibited, contain stolen goods, include deceptive pricing, or otherwise breach our Rules & Safety.
Who is responsible for listing accuracy?
The seller. Sellers must ensure descriptions, photos, condition, and inclusions are accurate. Buyers should ask questions before agreeing to purchase.
Messaging and conduct
How should users communicate?
Use the listing’s messaging feature and communicate respectfully. Harassment, threats, scams, or repeated rule breaches may result in account restrictions or bans.
Can you block or ban users?
Yes. We may restrict, suspend, or ban accounts to enforce rules, protect users, and maintain platform integrity. We aim to keep RedSpear respectful and safe. Harassment or abusive conduct may result in account restrictions or bans.
Liability and disclaimers
Do you guarantee items, sellers, or outcomes?
No. We don’t inspect, test, store, or deliver items. We do not guarantee item condition, legality, performance, delivery, or that a buyer/seller will complete a deal.
What is RedSpear not liable for?
To the extent permitted by law, RedSpear is not liable for losses arising from: scams, non-delivery, misrepresentation, disputes, injury, property damage, or illegal use of items.
What about Australian Consumer Law?
Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the extent permitted by law.
Changes and contact
Can the Terms change?
Yes. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated Terms.
