What if a buyer disputes the sale or says it never arrived?

Payouts are released on tracking, not on a claim alone. If tracking shows delivered and nothing is reported within 48 hours, you’re paid. If a buyer raises an issue inside that window, the payout pauses while we investigate — judged on the tracking and your listing, not either side’s word. A tracking record showing delivery to the buyer’s address weighs heavily in your favour.

What happens if the parcel is lost in transit?

Because payouts only release on confirmed delivery, you’re never paid for a lost parcel — and the buyer is refunded from the held funds, not from your pocket. You then claim AusPost compensation (the first $100 of cover is free; add Extra Cover for anything worth more), and we provide the order and tracking records to back your claim.
