Find answers to common questions about our listed used gel blasters and gear, fees, financial stuff, shipping, and more.

RedSpear Armory is Queensland's dedicated marketplace for buying and selling used gel blasters. Unlike private sale platforms, RedSpear handles all payments end-to-end, manually verifies sellers before they go live, and requires tracked shipping — so both buyers and sellers are protected throughout the transaction.

RedSpear holds payment until delivery is confirmed, requires sellers to be verified before listing, and mandates tracked shipping on every sale. If something goes wrong, you have a real process to follow — not just a stranger's word.

Yes. Seller applications are reviewed before you can publish listings. Submit your listing via our form and we'll review it within 24 hours.

Not usually for private sellers. If you're selling as a business, include your ABN where applicable.

Queensland residents aged 18+ only. By using the marketplace you confirm you meet both requirements. No exceptions.

You can list gel blaster rifles and pistols, mags, ammo and batteries, parts and accessories, protective gear, and gel blaster related 3D printed items. Everything must be accurately described, legal to own and ship in Queensland, and not be a real firearm or firearm part. If it's dodgy, misleading or unsafe it won't get approved.

There are NO upfront costs at all. However, we ask for a 5% commission only IF your item sells. These are to cover 1.75% + 30 cents Shopify fee and 3% to cover our own expenses. No other costs or any hidden fees etc.

For four weeks. In three weeks time, you will receive an email if you want to list for free another 4 weeks. Again, no hidden fees etc. and no 're-listing fee' etc.

You'll receive a reminder one week before your listing expires. If your item hasn't sold and you'd like to keep it live, you can renew for 4 weeks. Of course at NO costs at all!

Yes — a 5% platform fee applies if your item sells. This is not a traditional commission. It covers Shopify's payment processing (~1.75% + 30c) and our platform fee (~3%). You see the exact dollar breakdown before you list. On a $200 sale, you receive approximately $190.

We only charge a 5% fee if your item sells. The 5% is not a traditional commission — here's exactly where it goes: roughly 1.75% plus 30 cents goes to Shopify for secure card payment processing (this is what every online store pays), and roughly 3% is our platform fee covering marketplace operations, listing review, and payout management. We show you the exact dollar breakdown before you list, and again in your payout confirmation. No hidden charges, ever.

We do. The buyer pays through our secure Shopify checkout. We collect the funds, hold them until delivery is confirmed, then transfer your payout to your PayID within 48 hours. You never handle payment directly with the buyer — no bank transfers to strangers, no awkward conversations about whether they've paid yet.

Within 48 hours of confirmed delivery. We track your shipment automatically — once it shows as delivered, a 48-hour window opens for the buyer to raise any issues. If nothing is raised, your payout goes straight to your PayID. Fast, clean, no excuses.

PayID is a secure Australian bank payment system that lets us transfer money to you using just your phone number or email address — no BSB or account numbers needed. It's instant, it's safe, and most Australians already have it set up through their bank. We use it because it's the most comfortable and secure way to send you money without asking for sensitive banking details.

You must notify us immediately — within 24 hours. We'll unpublish your listing at no charge.

Not in the traditional sense. We charge a 5% platform fee on sale — and we break it down transparently so you know exactly what you're paying and why. Roughly 1.75% plus 30 cents covers Shopify's payment processing. The remaining roughly 3% covers our platform costs. You see the exact dollar amount before you list. There's no ambiguity and no surprises

The buyer has a 48-hour window after confirmed delivery to raise a dispute with us. During that window, your payout is held. We contact you, review the situation, and work toward a resolution. If the dispute is valid, we manage the refund process. If it's unfounded, your payout is released immediately. We don't take sides — we look at the facts, which is why accurate listings and real photos matter so much.

Misleading descriptions, prohibited or illegal items, low-quality or fake photos, unsafe conduct, breaches of Queensland-only or 18+ rules, or failure to disclose known faults. We review every listing before it goes live.

Illegal content, unsafe behaviour, scams, harassment, misleading listings, repeat rule breaches, or attempts to bypass Queensland-only rules may result in listing removal or account restrictions.
