RedSpear Armory was built to make gel blaster buying, selling, and research in Queensland safer, easier, and far less frustrating.

I'm Patrick, founder of RedSpear Armory, based on the Gold Coast. The idea for the platform came after a pretty ordinary first-hand experience in the gel blaster world. I bought my first rifle and later a Glock 19 from a retail store on the Gold Coast. Just 32 days after buying the rifle, the gearbox failed completely.

When I called the store, I was told their warranty was only 28 days, there was nothing they could do, and if I wanted it repaired, I would have to pay for it. When I asked how long that would take, the answer was, "as long as it takes."

That experience showed me very quickly that in this space, knowing who you can trust matters just as much as knowing what to buy.

Later, I found CyberTrigger, and the difference in service was night and day. They fixed the rifle and showed me what proper customer care actually looks like: straight answers, quality work, and none of the usual runaround. That contrast stuck with me.

At the same time, I realised how messy the wider gel blaster space was. If you wanted to sell used gear, Facebook Marketplace was not an option. Facebook groups and Discord communities existed, but they were scattered, hard to search, poorly organised, and always carried the risk of scams.

If you wanted to find reliable stores, indoor or outdoor fields, useful guides, or upcoming events in Queensland, the information was out there, but only in fragments. A bit here, a bit there, and none of it central.

That made no sense.

So I built the platform I wish had existed when I started.
