About Susan River Gel Ball
Susan River Gel Ball is an outdoor field set in the bush just outside Hervey Bay, on the Fraser Coast. The ground does the work — natural cover for stalking and ambushes, open stretches where movement and range matter, and the space to run proper team games rather than a tight indoor scrap. It's built as a family-friendly venue, so it suits first-timers and casual groups as much as regular players.
You don't need your own gear to play. Bring your own blaster if you've got one, or hire a field blaster on the day — either way the gel balls are sorted, so there's nothing stopping a group of mates, a birthday crew or a family from rocking up and getting straight into it. The field is run by experienced staff, with ex-military and police instructors involved, and it supports the Operation Hard Yakka youth program.

Getting There
Susan River Gel Ball is on Noble Road, Susan River — off the Hervey Bay — Maryborough Road, beside the Susan River Homestead Resort entrance. It's roughly 15 minutes from Hervey Bay and about the same from Maryborough. It's rural, so allow a little travel time and check the directions before you head out.
