Sizing: get your barrel measured first
Gel blaster barrels typically run 7.1–7.5mm inner diameter. Some gels (SummerCat's SV range) are formulated to stay small, 7.15–7.35mm, no matter how long you soak them; everything else keeps growing the longer it soaks, and lands around 7.5–7.6mm at full soak. Hardness matters too, and it's a separate check
Size fit is only half the picture. Most gels sold under the SummerCat range are rated 10 out of 10 hardness, but a couple of softer options exist, and softer gels can burst under a hard or upgraded spring, or on a high-FPS setup. If your build is stock or standard FPS, hardness isn't something to worry about. There's no special gel for HPA or GBB setups - size and hardness rules are exactly the same as any blaster.
