Full disclosure up front: this one's mine. I'm the founder of RedSpear, and I run two identical builds of this exact MK18 setup. This is one of the two — test-fired on the bench to confirm everything works, never actually taken out to a field. If I'm asking every seller on this site to write an honest condition section, my own gear goes through the same test.
Why sell a blaster that's basically never been used? I want a Noveske N4, so I asked my partner. Verdict: one goes first, no negotiation. She then asked our five-year-old daughter for a second opinion, who put on her most serious face and delivered it herself: “Papa, you cannot always buy new gel blasters!” — then immediately giggled and ran off, fully pleased with herself. Unanimous decision, two votes to none. One of the two MK18s had to go, and this one drew the short straw.
Most upgraded MK18s on the used market got there one part at a time, over a year of tinkering. This one didn't — it's a full internals rebuild done before it ever left the workbench, and it's been fired once since, purely to test that everything actually works. You're not buying a project. You're buying the result of one, already finished.
Everything inside it has been replaced or upgraded: the gearbox internals, the barrel, the motor and the MOSFET. It's full metal, it runs perfectly, and there's nothing to fix, tune or bed in before your first game. Five magazines, a sling and foregrip, a battery, a pack of gels and a display stand come with it, so the only thing missing is eye protection.

Features
Leviathan Bluetooth MOSFET
App-programmable, already installed and wired in — no soldering or gearbox strip required to get it working.
Stainless steel 7.3mm barrel
Tighter tolerance than the stock barrel for more consistent shot-to-shot range.
SHS 13:1 gears + high-torque motor
A noticeably faster cycle than a stock gearbox — more shots downrange per trigger pull.
Full piston & cylinder rebuild
PA66 piston with a full metal rack and CNC 7075 piston head, running in a stainless steel ported cylinder.
CNC cylinder head & nozzle
Alloy 7075 CNC cylinder head with a double O-ring and sorbothane pad for correct angle of engagement, paired with a CNC V2 nozzle.
Full metal build
No plastic body panels to crack or flex under hard use.
Condition
Like new, no faults. Test-fired once on the bench to confirm everything works, and it does — sitting around 320 FPS depending on gel size and hydration — but never actually taken out to a field. Two honest cosmetic marks: light scratches around the L34 marking on the left Picatinny rail where a sling attachment used to sit, and the reflective sticker on the receiver has partly lifted. A couple of the five included magazines carry minor adhesive scuffing where name and phone-number tags were peeled off — cosmetic only, all five feed fine. As with every used listing on RedSpear, what’s described is what you get — including when the seller is RedSpear's own founder: payment still runs through RedSpear, not person-to-person, and the same verification and condition standards apply.

🟣 The gears aren’t there to boost FPS — they can’t
Queensland's FPS limits cap this blaster the same as a stock one, so a 13:1 gear set and a high-torque motor were never about raw power. What they actually change is rate of fire — how fast the gearbox cycles between shots, not how hard each one hits. That's exactly what matters in the fast, close-range games most MK18 builds get bought for, and it's the upgrade most buyers overlook while they're busy comparing FPS numbers that are legally capped anyway.

Frequently asked questions
What's included?
The E&C MK18 itself, plus 5 magazines, a sling and foregrip, a battery, a display stand, and a pack of iHobby Orange gels to get you started — see our guide to growing and storing gels in Queensland to keep them performing once you're through that pack. Photos form part of the description — you'll still want to add eye protection before your first game.
What's actually been upgraded inside it?
A full internals rebuild: Leviathan Bluetooth MOSFET, a stainless steel 7.3mm barrel, a high-torque motor, SHS 13:1 carbon steel gears, a PA66 piston with full metal rack and CNC 7075 piston head, a stainless steel ported cylinder, an alloy 7075 CNC cylinder head with double O-ring and sorbothane pad, an alloy CNC V2 nozzle, a PA66 tappet plate, and a stainless return spring paired with an SHS M120 spring. Nothing left stock except the shell.
Any faults or damage?
No faults or issues, fired once for testing and it works perfectly. Two cosmetic marks are disclosed plainly: light scratches around the L34 marking on the left Picatinny rail from a previous sling attachment, and the reflective sticker on the receiver has partly lifted. A couple of magazines have minor adhesive scuffing from removed name tags — cosmetic only.

Why is RedSpear’s founder selling this one?
No drama — I run two identical MK18 builds, and this one has only ever been bench-tested, never fielded. I wanted a Noveske N4, so I asked my partner, and the answer was one goes first. She then asked our five-year-old daughter for a second opinion, who delivered her verdict dead serious — “Papa, you cannot always buy new gel blasters!” — before giggling and skipping off. Unanimous vote. It went through the same listing process, the same honest condition write-up, and the same payment-through-RedSpear protection as every other seller on the marketplace.
Can I make an offer?
Yes — the seller is open to offers below the asking price. Use the Make an Offer button on this page to send one. If it clears the seller's minimum it's accepted automatically; otherwise it goes to the seller to review.
