🟣 Keep both eyes open

A big-window sight like the UH1 is built for a technique most gel ball players never learn: shooting with both eyes open. Close one eye and you lose half your peripheral vision — which in CQB is where the bloke flanking you lives. With both eyes open, your brain overlays the dot onto a full field of view: you keep the speed of the dot and the awareness of bare eyes. It feels wrong for the first game and then you’ll never go back.
